Super Duper Uber Cheap For A VERY Limited Time!

$2 black and white inked lineart (with or without simple shading)
$5 black and white full drawing
Add $5 for each additional character
Add $1 for simple background, $3 for detailed background, $3 for digital color

If you'd like a tangible commission, please pay for shipping.
I take payment through Paypal only.

The Process:
1) You tell me you'd like a commission form me... yay!
2) We discuss what you want and I get possible reference images from you
3) I start. Lineart takes the least time, it's just linework and inking. Full drawings take a lot longer as I have to "carve out" the character into a complete drawing with shading and everything. If you're paying for any of the extras like color, backgrounds, or adding characters then you can expect -at least- an extra hour of work depending on what your needs are and what the work entails.
4) When I'm halfway finished, I'll send you a sample where you tell me what to tweak if it needs any.
5) Once your commission is completed, I will send you a small sample of the work. I will tweak and send you samples until you're satisfied.
6) You pay. After that's done you get a large, high res file of the work sent to your email.

Quick Facts:
-- No refunds. I take great care in making sure you are happy with the commission 'before' you pay.
-- I reserve the right to display the work in my DA gallery, Facebook, portfolio (online and otherwise), etc. as a commission.
-- Please credit me and link my profile whenever you display the work.

Any questions? Feel free to ask!

Hey, lovebugs! I feel like I should be posting more journal entries... what do you think? No, seriously, what do you think... TELL ME!! Lol, yeah I'm in a goofy, hyper mood right now I apologize if I'm scaring you ;)

Being a professional artist is a strange emotional rollercoaster. You have times when you think your work is worthless and just as quickly as those feelings take over you, a rush of hope, happiness, and accomplishment will replace that negativity. For example, for the past few weeks, I had a lot of anxiety about my future as an artist. I was honestly starting to have doubts. Well, I got an offer to work as a shoe designer for a company that sells pin-up type, sexy shmexy shoes. They've been featured on MSNBC, Good Morning America, and a bunch of European fashion magazines. Since I just started and haven't even designed my first shoe with them yet, I won't reveal the name. I want to introduce my benefactor with a BANG! Now's just not the right time yet. I know that I won't get rich right off the bat, if ever, off this business and I understand that not every shoe I design will sell... but I'm still hopeful and VERY excited to get started because at the very least, it'll give my art more exposure :D

In other news, my fiancé had to work (he's a fireman), but I went to his family's Easter party and had a great time with them as usual. His aunt, his mom, and I talked about our wedding to be. Auntie was a bit confused as to why we were getting married at the courthouse 8/8/12 then waiting till 2014 to have our ceremony. My fiancé 's mom and I were trying to explain to auntie that in Chinese culture 8 is a lucky number because it looks like the character for happiness and double 8s means double happiness. Plus, this year is year of the dragon so if you have any important event on the year of the dragon it heightens your good luck. Since year of the dragon only happens once every 12 years, my fiancé said that we should get married this year (he's so good to me! Oh, and he's Italian-English if you were wondering... most do). You follow me? Ok, so next year is year of the snake. According to my parents' fortune monk snakes are VERY bad luck for me. Now I'm Christian, so I don't believe in a lot of the fortune telling stuff my parents talk about, but out of respect for them, I took on their double happiness belief and warnings of snakes to heart... therefore, it became important to my fiancé too (that's why my parents love him!). We can't afford to have a ceremony this year so we're just going to the courthouse this year, save up and have our ceremony in 2014 (year of the horse, totally harmless to my family). That's the plan... BUT auntie suggested that the money we're saving for a ceremony can be used for a down payment on a house, or put in the bank for a nest egg. She said that since 8/8/12 falls on a Wednesday, we should have a big dinner party on the weekend. I like that idea a lot, but I'm also a little sad that if we go with that idea, I won't have my dream wedding on the beach and lavish Chinese reception with 8 course meal, lion dances, and 3 outfit changes lol.

Ok I think I've blabbered for long enough, teehehe. Have a great week, everyone!

I have a show at the Morikami Japanese Museum's Annual Spring Festival.

I'll only have prints of my digital work, but I think maybe this drawing of mine will sell nicely as a print.

What do you think?
